Summary: Goal was to spend Christmas day with family plus one extended family member from overseas out of the cramped condo and this cottage fit the bill perfectly. To better the chances of a white Christmas we chose a location close to Barrie but not too far north where we might get snowed in. The cottage is not lake-side or in a touristy area but we enjoyed using the BBQ grill and playing in the snow in the backyard. Inside was very clean and tidy with all the daily living essentials - note: there is only one hair dryer in the basement bathroom. Communication with the host was second-to-none and despite it being Christmas day David was gracious enough to check up on us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks very much!
